My idea to create leather care products came naturally to me one day as I was working in the quaint little Yahk soap shop that is my second home away from home. I was lost in my own little world, daydreaming about my new love, an Icelandic Horse named Perla, and that led to pondering the barn full of neglected saddles and tack that desperately needed some tlc.
I happened to be making soap...and the AHA moment struck! I should research how to make leather soap and start cleaning that old tack! I ran that by my boss, confidant, mentor, and friend Tammy to see what she thought and get her expert guidance on how to proceed.
With a lot of research, a little tweaking, and valuable feedback from my most trusted product testers and mentors, I settled on a formula for both Glycerin Leather Soap, and an All-Natural Conditioner, which have exceeded both my expectations and those of my customers.
My barn is now full of beautiful, supple, and restored saddles and tack. Yours should be too.
